So, you have received a cancer diagnosis! You may even have received treatment. Maybe you have been told your cancer is in remission. But what changes have you made in your life in order to prevent a recurrence? And let's be realistic here: cancer does recur if the conditions in your body that invited the cancer in the first place are not modified.
Chances are, if you visited a traditional oncologist, few suggestions were offered relating to improving the terrain of your body in order that you create an environment hostile to cancer. But,it is not too late.
First of all, here are two things you need to know: cancer thrives in an acidic environment, and cancer loves glucose (sugar), so get real about your nutrition. Here are a few suggestions, but there is much more to discover if you decide to research: eliminate sugar and simple carbohydrates like white sugar, white rice, white flour that spike your sugar. Do NOT drink coffee, nor eat any foods that will create an acidic environment in your body like fast food and desserts. Instead, drink green tea and use a lot of lemon and lime juice. Eat a vegetable-based diet and try to find organic vegetables. Stay away from foods in a regular grocery store. They contain pesticides and all manner of chemicals added. Eating sugar and having an acidic body terrain is like POURING GASOLINE ON A FIRE, so take your diet seriously.
Here is another fact: most problems in our bodies begin in the gut. If we are not absorbing nutrients well, the cells of our body, which are the body's building blocks are not receiving the nutrition they need. This permits cells to weaken and convert from healthy cells to cancerous cells. Get some probiotics, learn about food combining, discover the foods that support an alkaline body environment. Better yet, get yourself to an alternative practitioner who offers live blood cell analysis and a holistic approach to your healing. Amazing things can be discovered when you are with a knowledgeable practitioner who knows what he/she is doing. These practitioners recognize that your symptoms are not diseases to be named, but signs that your bodily systems are out of balance, and they will advise you on how to remedy this through nutrition and detoxification.
Why don't I suggest that you get this same information from your family doctor or your oncologist? Plain and simple, it is because they just don't know. Our doctors are trained in drugs and surgery, and many of them still believe that if alternatives worked, then they would have learned about it in medical school. Do not let them disuade you.
