What do you think?

Scientists who choose to look at 'cause' instead of disease symptoms are labelled as 'quacks', and you and I are the victims. Untold alternative cancer cures have been suppressed in the name of 'protecting the public from quacks'. By treating the symptoms of cancer with drugs, instead of dealing with the cause of the cancer, the Cancer Industry ensures that patients must continue to visit their doctor's office to get new prescriptions and then return to their pharmacy to get more drugs. They are legal drug pushers.

What kind of society have we become where our physicians have been betrayed and misled by the pharmaceutical industry, and in turn, physicians have unwittingly betrayed and misled their patients? Your health should always be in the best hands possible - your own! Read and research. Do not permit anyone to convince you that drugs are best, unless you are completely satisfied they are necessary, and that they will be administered with your best interests at heart, by an enlightened physician.

Charter of Health Freedom - Shawn Buckley

Thank you to the reader who reminded me of Shawn Buckley's campaign to protect Canadian citizens' rights to choose. He has drafted this Charter of Health Freedom for Canadians. It has been described as "A Proposal To Live A Great Canadian Life"

Go to www.charterofhealthfreedom.org where you can check out the Charter and videos. Also, take the opportunity to download the National Petition. And check out www.stopC51.com for more info..

The Charter offers a ground-breaking solution to our health system that will be sustainable and that will encompass not only natural, but traditional medicine. It has visionary potential that will identify Canada as a leader in promoting fair access to natural health products for all its citizens.

It is important for every Canadian to endorse this Charter and to be diligent in opposing all attempts to eliminate our right to choose.

Regulation of Canadian Health Products

A 1999 national survey found that at least 50 percent of Canadians had used alternative therapies in the previous 12 months, and 88 percent of those users had found the therapies very or somewhat useful. These statistics have not escaped the attention of the Drug Cartel in Canada and the U.S.. They know they are missing out on a huge piece of the “natural products” pie. That is why in Canada, they are attempting to introduce into law, legislation to “regulate” natural products. It has nothing to do with protecting the public as our Health Minister claims, it has everything to do with protecting the profits of Big Pharma.

The day that the drug industry, the FDA in the U.S., Health Canada and the medical industry recognize that natural products actually work, will be the day that Big Pharma gets away with successfully regulating health products and foods, and places them under government control where they can make billions from them, as we have already seen happen in Australia, Norway and Germany. It will be a sad day in Canada and the U.S. when we are allowed only products from a government pharmacy and products manufactured at ineffective levels instead of optimal levels. When this happens, many people who are dependent on quality natural products in order to maintain their health will die. But if drugs were removed from the market, thousands would live. It is estimated that1.7 million people die from legal drugs every year in Canada. Health Canada has not one person listed as dying from health products!

Health Canada is attacking the wrong industry, I think.

Pet Scans -

Positron Emission Tomography is one of the most accurate diagnostic tools for the early detection of cancer.

WHY? I will call her Sue.

For years, my dear friend Sue, has suffered from anxiety and depression. She is presently suffering physical symptoms such as skin lesions, intense hot flashes, and general malaise, as well as a cyst on her ovaries and intense abdominal pain. She has attended all manner of classes over the years, attempting to find the root of her problems – meditation, self-improvement, self-awareness etc.. She has finally managed to wean herself from the anti-depressant drugs she has been taking for years, and she no longer takes a popular statin drug for cholesterol that we know is so dangerous to the cells of our bodies. She began taking Usana Health Sciences vitamins several years ago and her bone density increased by 6% in one year.

The night before Sue’s appointment, this alternative practitioner reviewed Sue’s answers to a questionnaire. These answers, he discussed during the appointment. Putting the pieces of her illness puzzle together, he administered live as well as dry blood cell analysis. His conclusions were presented, not as a list of symptoms to be named and dealt with individually using drugs, but as pieces of a puzzle that connect to the whole person, pieces that must be viewed in a logical, sequential manner in order for her inner healer to be revived so that her body can begin functioning once again as an integrated whole. This is the same philosophy employed at Sanoviv Medical Institute in Mexico.

My friend’s liver was fatty. Her MD had discovered this also, but he told her this was normal. It is NOT normal! Now that she knows this, her first step is to improve the health of her liver. Once this is done, detoxification of the rest of her body can begin. Toxins are always eliminated through the liver, and so, the liver must be strong and healthy in order to deal with detoxification. Sue’s blood samples indicated the presence of heavy metals, an abundance of fats in the blood, poor protein assimilation, candida yeast and numerous other undesireable conditions. As soon as her blood sample appeared on the screen, I knew that she had a multitude of problems. I have had my own live blood cell analysis done at Sanoviv and I know what good blood is supposed to look like. Clumping of Sue’s cells indicated that oxygenation was likely poor, enzyme deficiency was pervasive and there was also indication of chemicals in her blood.

Sue’s first visit was 3 hours in length. When was the last time a Canadian doctor was able to give you the priviledge of even a half hour? When have you ever had a Canadian doctor discuss thoroughly, the results of your blood analysis? When have you ever had your doctor look at all of your symptoms, and realize that the solution is not drugs, but the healthy, synergistic functioning of your bodily systems so that all of these undesireable symptoms can be encouraged to disappear? My guess is that like the medical doctors I have approached, yours have attempted to look at each symptom individually, and prescribe a drug for each one. Either that, or you have been labelled a hypochondriac!

Sue’s next visit is in a week and she will then begin enzyme therapy designed to improve her absorption of nutrition. She was horrified to discover that all the wonderful Usana vitamins she has been taking have not been optimally absorbed because of her poor gut conditions preventing proper assimilation. With enzyme therapy, this situation will be resolved. She will also be given nutritional advice and a proper dietary plan will be developed.

As for her anxiety and depression, once proper digestion and assimilation and strengthening of her cells is realized, these emotional conditions will likely disappear. So often, we think that our emotional state causes poor physical health, which of course is possible, but doesn’t it make more sense to first assume the opposite, get our physical body as healthy as possible, and then see if our anxiety or depression disappears?

I am thrilled for my friend. She has suffered too long with her symptoms, and she has been on too many debilitating drugs. It will be exciting over the next few months to watch her transform. How do I know this is possible? Because at Sanoviv, I have seen this process begin in just days with most patients, and I have observed people go from a state of hopelessness to hope in a very brief time once their healing is managed properly by practitioners who know what they are doing.

Diagnosed With Cancer? What Changes Have You Made?

So, you have received a cancer diagnosis! You may even have received treatment. Maybe you have been told your cancer is in remission. But what changes have you made in your life in order to prevent a recurrence? And let's be realistic here: cancer does recur if the conditions in your body that invited the cancer in the first place are not modified.

Chances are, if you visited a traditional oncologist, few suggestions were offered relating to improving the terrain of your body in order that you create an environment hostile to cancer. But,it is not too late.

First of all, here are two things you need to know: cancer thrives in an acidic environment, and cancer loves glucose (sugar), so get real about your nutrition. Here are a few suggestions, but there is much more to discover if you decide to research: eliminate sugar and simple carbohydrates like white sugar, white rice, white flour that spike your sugar. Do NOT drink coffee, nor eat any foods that will create an acidic environment in your body like fast food and desserts. Instead, drink green tea and use a lot of lemon and lime juice. Eat a vegetable-based diet and try to find organic vegetables. Stay away from foods in a regular grocery store. They contain pesticides and all manner of chemicals added. Eating sugar and having an acidic body terrain is like POURING GASOLINE ON A FIRE, so take your diet seriously.

Here is another fact: most problems in our bodies begin in the gut. If we are not absorbing nutrients well, the cells of our body, which are the body's building blocks are not receiving the nutrition they need. This permits cells to weaken and convert from healthy cells to cancerous cells. Get some probiotics, learn about food combining, discover the foods that support an alkaline body environment. Better yet, get yourself to an alternative practitioner who offers live blood cell analysis and a holistic approach to your healing. Amazing things can be discovered when you are with a knowledgeable practitioner who knows what he/she is doing. These practitioners recognize that your symptoms are not diseases to be named, but signs that your bodily systems are out of balance, and they will advise you on how to remedy this through nutrition and detoxification.

Why don't I suggest that you get this same information from your family doctor or your oncologist? Plain and simple, it is because they just don't know. Our doctors are trained in drugs and surgery, and many of them still believe that if alternatives worked, then they would have learned about it in medical school. Do not let them disuade you.

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://itsonlycancer.blogspot.com/2009/01/diagnosed-with-cancer-what-changes-have.html' title='Diagnosed With Cancer? Opposition to Bill C51 this year has been fierce. This is said to be the most opposed bill ever presented in Parliament. Canadians recognize that with this bill, Health Canada is once again attempting to take away our right to choose, as it pertains to health products and even foods. The first reading in Parliament passed without most of us being aware that the Bill existed, but once we realized it was being slipped past us, we raised our collective voices, until finally, in May, second reading was scrapped. This new enlightened Canadian consciousness rallied this opposition.

Not one, but several aspects of awareness have caused us to rise up and say “Enough!” Firstly, we are quickly recognizing that drugs do NOT work. Secondly, we are now demanding more from our doctors in the way of alternatives, and they can’t deliver, because they are trained only in drugs and surgery. We are increasingly aware that alternatives DO work, and we want access to them. While our doctors and the medical community in Canada and the U.S. use the rallying cry of “SHOW ME THE SCIENCE”, doctors in other countries who are allowed to explore alternatives are evidencing countless cases of patients cured with natural means or with an integrated approach to medicine. Thirdly, we are seeing Canadians leave this country in increasing numbers, to obtain health care in Mexico, Germany, India and China for example, and they are coming back cured and educated, and they are passing on what they have learned. Fourthly, the internet permits us easy access to discover the truth about a drug cartel out of control, an FDA in the U.S. that has lost its credibility as a government regulatory agency, and a Health Canada here at home that operates with insiders who are led to believe that natural health products are snake oil.

Researching leads us to publications such as Cancer Gate, by Samuel S. Epstein where we learn about suppression of information by the NCI and the ACS, both of which are supposed to be stewards of the public interest, but instead are actually cheerleaders of special interest groups in the U.S.. This book also reveals the conflicts of interest between these organizations, cancer drug companies (Big Pharma) and environmental polluters in the chemical industry.

Accelerating this shift in our public consciousness is a dramatic rise in the incidence of degenerative diseases: Cancer, Heart disease, Fibromyalgia, MS, Lupus, Autism, Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, Diabetes and so on. We are frightened, plain and simple. We recognize that our environment is killing us, and that traditional treatments are simply not working. We want CHOICE, and we also want doctors who have ALL possible choices in their arsenal, not just DRUG choices!

Canadian Cancer Care or Neglect?

This is an excerpt from my book, "One Hand Clapping"

Cancer treatment in Canada is like one hand clapping. As long as the hand holding chemotherapy, radiation and surgery is not permitted to connect with the other hand offering alternative, potentiating options, including biological, homeopathic, energetic, spiritual and nutritional solutions, no sound will be heard, no integration will occur, and the powerful synergy that cures cancer will elude us.

"When I first arrived for this appointment, I was looking around the waiting room at the cancer patients. My heart went out to them. Many looked very ill, immune-compromised and some had the palour of clay. I thought to myself, “This is so wrong”. These people deserve to live and to have the best care available, but instead, they are locked into a system where they are treated with chemotherapy and radiation only. They are not guided in the importance of an individual immune-boosting nutrition program, a spiritual program and energy healing. They receive no additional therapies designed to mitigate the damage of the chemo or the radiation, nor do they receive adjunctive therapies that will potentiate the effectiveness of the chemo or radiation. Only their physical situation is being assessed and then it is being treated with limited options.
The Journal of Clinical Oncology (May 1, 2008) published a study which had investigated the nutritional status of 9,000 cancer patients and found that only about 15% were eating properly – the rest, while undergoing chemotherapy, were eating junk food at the same time without any idea of what they were doing to themselves. One of the most important aspects of cancer treatment is the consumption of a vegetable-based diet, supplemented by organic protein, healthy fats and good carbohydrates. At no time, can a cancer patient afford to eat junk food. Junk food feeds cancer cells by providing glucose in abundance, and by creating an acidic environment in which disease thrives.

We know why these patients are not following a strict dietary regimen. It is because their doctors are not educated in the importance of nutrition, plain and simple. The 15% who are eating properly have very likely researched the food connection to cancer themselves."

Cancer Feeds on Glucose

This is an excerpt from my as yet, unpublished book, "One Hand Clapping".

“Sugar is the most hazardous foodstuff in the American diet.” -Linus Pauling PhD. Twice Nobel laureate

So why do some Canadian Cancer clinics house donut franchises??? It’s all about the money. These franchises make donations to the cancer cause, and in return, they are permitted to set up shop in our cancer clinics. Here, cancer patients have ready access to the very food that feeds their cancer cells at a 3 to 5 fold rate faster than normal cells. And most patients are none the wiser because their oncologists don’t tell them the facts. Perhaps they don’t know the facts.

The sugar-cancer connection was made by researchers at the Sloan-Kettering Cancer hospital in New York City. They discovered that tumours sucked up radioactively-labelled vitamin C because they thought it was glucose, their favourite fuel. Vitamin C is similar in chemical structure to glucose. And in Germany, oncologists found that by injecting cancer patients with glucose, they activated the cancer growth and then they attacked the cancer with chemo, radiation or hyperthermia. It was found that the 5 year survival rate for these patients undergoing this Systemic Cancer Multistep Therapy was doubled.

This principle, that sugar feeds cancer, is utilized in the PET scan (positron emission tomography) which detects cancer by finding cancer cells that are actively seeking and feeding on sugar.
In “A New Earth”, Eckhart Tolle describes a story entitled "The Duck With The Human Mind". In this tale, he tells us that when two ducks get into a fight, it never lasts too long, because the ducks will separate and float off in opposite directions. “The duck will flap its wings vigorously a few times, thus releasing the surplus energy that built up during the fight. After they flap their wings, they float on peacefully, as if nothing had ever happened”.

He continues, “If the duck had a human mind, it would keep the fight alive by thinking, by story-making. This would probably be the duck’s story: “I don’t believe what he just did. He came to within five inches of me. He thinks he owns this pond. He has no consideration for my private space. I’ll never trust him again. Next time he’ll try something else just to annoy me. I’m sure he’s plotting something already. But I’m not going to stand for this. I’ll teach him a lesson he won’t forget.”

And Tolle summarizes, “But this is how most humans live all the time. No situation or event is ever really finished. ...We are a species that has lost its way. Everything natural, every flower or tree, and every animal have important lessons to teach us if we would only stop, look, and listen. Our duck’s lesson is this: Flap your wings - which translates as “let go of the story” - and return to the only place of power: the present moment.”

For me, the message here is simple, yet profound. We can choose to flap our wings and let it go, or we can dwell on negative thoughts that will eventually contribute to dis-ease in our bodies.

Laugh, Love and Live

Very recently, I received a delightful surprise from author, Corrie Woods, a woman whose path briefly crossed mine approximately one month ago. A small package with a huge message - a book entitled "the Woman's Field Guide to Exceptional Living" arrived in my mailbox.

When I met Corrie, I told her of my plans to publish my own book, and she revealed to me that she was a published author, a professional life coach and a woman's retreat leader. We had little time at that meeting to share experiences, but I recognized in her a calm wisdom and centeredness that appealed to me . She offered to send me a copy of her book, and frankly, I had forgotten about her offer until suddenly, a few days ago, there it was in my mailbox.

I have begun reading her pages of wisdom and it has occurred to me that this little guide has delightful, encouraging and pertinent messages for everyone, but that her words might especially resonate for those of us facing cancer. For example, on the back cover, two statements caught my attention: "Get out of your head and into your life." and "Live without regrets, energy-drainers, and nay-sayers." These are two lessons I have been working on for some time.

When you get into your life instead of dwelling on the thoughts in your head, as a cancer patient, you are helping yourself change your mental channel from obsessing over your disease to experiencing the joy of your life. It permits you to live in the present instead of dwelling on what you imagine may come.

Living without regret and getting rid of negative attitudes, thoughts and people in your life is another step in the right direction. Remember, thoughts create emotion and emotion creates physical changes in our bodies. Stay positive, surround yourself with joy, love and friends who care about you. Let negative influences go. Laugh often, love deeply and live fully.

Corrie's book is a delightful treasure of tips guiding us to a celebration of our lives. You can visit Corrie's website at www.womansfieldguide.com

A Golden Drink That Fights Cancer

This is a yummy drink that contains naturally occurring anti-cancer phytochemicals. I first tasted this drink at Sanoviv Medical Institute in Mexico. There, it was called "Golden Milk". I can't remember the exact recipe, but this is my version. It is simple.

1/2 C almond milk
1/2 - 1 tsp. turmeric
agave honey or unpasteurized honey to taste
1/2 tsp. coconut oil

Heat slightly in saucepan and stir.

Drink this soothing potion any time of day. I prefer to have it first thing every morning.

Turmeric is a phytochemical with anti-cancer properties. The curcuminoids are the principal compounds present in turmeric. The anti-cancer effect of curcumin in laboratory animals has been observed when this molecule is administered to mice, preventing the appearance of tumours induced by carcinogens. It is thought that turmeric may be the cause of the disparity in the rates of some cancers in India and Western countries. Until recently, turmeric has been almost exclusively consumed in India.

Phytochemical compounds are molecules that allow plants to defend themselves against infection and damage caused by microorganisms, insects, or other predators. This phytochemical production occurs in direct proportion to the stress to which the plant is exposed. Therefore, we might conclude that plants cultivated organically, without the use of pesticides, are likely more susceptible to attack and thus, contain greater quantities of self-defence molecules.

Since the protection by these phytochemical compounds is not restricted to their effect on plants, but also affects the behaviour of our own defence systems in fighting cancer, we would be:
a) well-advised to consume plants that contain these phytochemicals
b) well-advised to seek organic plants or plants that contain signs of insects, which also suggests that pesticides have not been used

The perfect shiny red tomato, the apple with the glossy, waxy surface and the biggest bunch of broccoli are likely produced in an unhealthy environment of pesticides. It is unfortunate that in order to get organic produce nowadays, we must pay more for what God gave us free in times gone by.

SOURCES OF PHYTOCHEMICALS: turmeric, blueberries, strawberries, green tea, soybeans, tomatoes, grapes, citrus fruit, garlic, cabbage, broccoli

Think About Your Thoughts

Whenever I worry about my cancer returning, I recognize immediately that these negative thoughts, unchecked and unchanged, can actually manifest what I am thinking.

Our thoughts are physical, and this has been proven metaphysically and scientifically. I recently perused a book called The Intention Experiment. Study after study is detailed in this book, showing how our intentions and thoughts affect us profoundly. It also demonstrates how our thoughts can affect others. So, daily, I have little talks with myself about remaining positive. I practise meditation as well, and this helps train me to focus, and to control what I am thinking about.

Curing cancer is not only a physical process; it is mental, spiritual and emotional. I must control my thoughts because they create emotion, and emotion affects me physically, but it takes a concerted effort. Some days are better than others, but I continue to deny ownership of my cancer, I see it as gone, and in this manner, I don't permit it power over me. It took me a long time to realize this. Just prior to my cancer diagnosis, I spent two years mourning the loss of a relationship, and all my thinking about the lost relationship made me sad and stressed. There is no doubt in my mind that this translated into physical immune suppression and a precipitating factor in the onset of my cancer. And breast cancer statistics uphold my belief.

If you are dealing with cancer, think about your thoughts. What is your self talk? In other words, what are you saying to yourself that will manifest physically in your body? Consider what Deepak Chopra says about this, "Every cell in your body is evesdropping on your thoughts".

New Year Shake

This is my all-time favourite meal in a glass! I learned to make this in Mexico at Sanoviv Medical Institute. It is served once a week there, but at home, I make it at least four times a week.

1 avocado
1 raw free-range (organic) egg
2 limes (juice only)
1 Tblsp. Coconut oil
2+ cups Almond milk or Coconut milk
Agave honey or Unpasteurized honey to taste

Blend just until smooth

For cancer patients, this is a really great drink because it provides protein and healthy fats, in a low glycemic meal. Remember that cancer feeds on sugar, so using Agave honey (made from cactus) or unpasteurized honey in reasonable amounts is important, as it tends not to spike your glycemic levels. Also, unpasteurized honey still has good bacteria in it. It is considered a Super Food. Once honey is pasteurized, these good bacteria are destroyed. The lime juice helps create an alkaline environment in your body - also important, because cancer thrives in an acidic environment and cannot live in an alkaline one. The coconut oil provides the fatty acids so essential to healing, and the avocado is also a great source of good fats as well as potassium.

I make my shake with Almond milk, but you might prefer the Coconut Milk. If you are worried about the raw egg - don't. Only one in 33,000 regular eggs contains salmonella and it is almost always found on the shell, so wash the shell with soap and water and it will be safe. Organic eggs have almost no chance of containing salmonella!

CHEERS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR!

NOTE: Some of my friends didn't want to have one of these shakes because they said they didn't like avocados, but once they tasted it, they ordered seconds.

My Book

I'm presently writing a book about my cancer journey, but more specifically, it is about how my treatments in Mexico were so vastly different from the options I was given here in Canada. This has been a real challenge as I have never written a book before, but I felt this overwhelming need to share my experiences with other cancer patients.

This need became really acute once I was immersed in my treatments at a hospital in Mexico, and I then had the opportunity to meet patients from around the world. A very large number of these patients are from Canada and the United States, and their reasons for travelling to Mexico for treatment awakened me to the great need among cancer patients for encouragement and information.

I don't have the discipline of a seasoned writer, because I find myself taking several days off in a row, rather than relegating my work to specific hours each day, but I have made a lot of progress in the past few months. As I near the end of my book, however, I am overwhelmed by the details to which I have given little thought until recently: bibliography, endnotes, copyright permission, kinds of publishing, photographs, cover picture, title, back cover comments etc..

The other day, I was researching publishing online and one best-selling author said that new writers need to develop a tough exterior shell as there will be lots of rejection along the way.

That was not encouraging!

Why Would You Go To Mexico For Cancer Treatment???

It's been nine months since my last cancer diagnosis, and presently I am in remission, or should I say the cancer is in remission? I chose to have my treatment in Mexico and I have not regretted this decision for a second.

People's reactions to my decision have been varied, funny and even weird. One woman said to me, "Oh, I am so sorry". She later admitted this comment evolved from her belief that people go to Mexico only as a last resort, and I suppose there might have been a time when this was a popular belief, but nowadays, folks are simply recognizing the benefit of escaping a medical system bent on the use of drugs to the exclusion of natural, logical treatments.

Three doctors here in Ontario have asked me with disdain, "Why would you go to Mexico?" Well, if they have to ask, then I recognize immediately that they have done very little research, because the answer is all over the internet and in hundreds of books available to anyone. The main reason is that I wanted to live.

One oncologist, here in Ontario when looking at the list of treatments I was receiving in Mexico said, "Well, it looks to me that all you got was a bunch of homeopathy". Interesting comment which tells me he either can't read, or chooses not to, because I listed not only the alternative adjunctive therapies I had received, but also the traditional ones.

Aother oncologist here at home asked me how I rated having my own private little hospital in Mexico. Weird comment from a so-called professional. Then he asked why I went there. As I was responding to this question, he yawned and got that "glazed over" look.

Yup, that's why I went to Mexico...

It's Only Cancer

Why this title?

I believe that cancer must be respected rather than feared. And it is really that simple. Cancer is an opportunistic disease that must be understood in order for us to outsmart it. By using this title, I am in no way trivializing the challenge that it presents to those of us who presently have cancer, or have had it in the past. Cancer is cancer, and it cannot be ignored. I am instead, suggesting that we replace the images and concepts we have been conditioned to accept regarding cancer, such as the notion that cancer must be "beaten", or that "a war on cancer" must be waged. These are violent images that perpetuate our fear of cancer, and war implies harsh measures with devastating results. We can replace these images once we gain insight into the causes of cancer. For it is only then, that we can implement prevention. Through this understanding of the causes of cancer, fear will be replaced by hope and we can then develop the belief that we can do something to eliminate cancer, and we can do it gently, lovingly and respectfully.

It also helps to understand the reasons why these violent images have been planted in our minds. When a public fears a disease such as cancer, it is all the more easily manipulated by the economic powers that be. When millions of dollars are donated by an unassuming public that believes their contributions are going toward a "cure" for cancer ", Big Pharma in fact, is able to continue to use this money to develop more and more drugs that will deal only with the symptoms of cancer, for that is all drugs do. Big Pharma does not want a cure. That would mark the end of decades of economic success. The drug industry benefits financially whenever a cancer patient permits the medical system to apply bolus chemotherapy or surgery or radiation in order to deal with his cancer. It does not benefit when a patient becomes empowered to seek alternatives. Big Pharma cannot make a single penny when a patient changes to an organic, raw, or nearly raw vegtable-based diet supplemented with high quality vitamins and minerals. It cannot profit from a patient who uses energy medicine to help his body function properly. Big Pharma realizes no benefit if a cancer patient understands the power of "thought" in his healing. Neither can it increase its coffers when a cancer patient learns to meditate and visualize. When a cancer patient researches and discovers that there are many cancer cures available and that there are hundreds more that have been suppressed by the drug industry and the medical industry over the past six or seven decades, then they are not as likely to be so easily manipulated and brainwashed by the "system".

I am not suggesting that there is no place in all of this for chemotherapy, surgery or radiation, because my personal paradigm for cancer consists of an integrative approach utilizing the best of medicine and the best of alternatives. My own cancer journey has taught me this. I am suggesting that we take the power away from cancer and give it to ourselves. Clear our screens by deleting the systemic images that have been uploaded by the drug industry, and reprogram, research and reset our beliefs until we realize that it is "only cancer" after all.
